Get together with family, friends, colleagues, team mates – in person or virtually and start raising much needed funds to help support those living with dementia their families and carers.
This is YOUR event, you get to decide WHAT you do, WHERE you do it and HOW you will fundraise. All with help on hand from us when you need it!
The aim? A healthy, happy you and a better world for people living with dementia, their families and carers.
Because when we get together, we can beat dementia to the finish line.
Plan your DIY Memory Walk & Jog
Friends, family, co-workers, team mates – everyone is welcome at your event! Here’s a checklist to help you plan:
- How many participants will you have?
- Entry fee?
- Fundraising goal?
- Other fun activities to help raise funds? E.g. bring your dog, fancy dress or samba your kilometres!
Everything else you need to know will be in your DIY Memory Walk & Jog pack. It includes useful materials like posters and extra fundraising tips. We’re also just a friendly call away when you need help!

Hosting a virtual DIY Memory Walk & Jog means no one will miss out. Wherever you are, you can make sure everyone can still take part and fundraise.

Our online fundraising pages also allows participants to keep track of their activity by adding a fitness device.
Just be sure that all government guidelines are being followed throughout the duration of your virtual DIY Memory Walk & Jog event.
