Al is a big part of our team. He’s been the Memory Walk & Jog mascot for such a long time now, and we couldn’t do it without him. He loves to high-five people on the course, have selfies with the kids and is a massive help when it comes to handing out flyers to promote the event. If you see him at the event, you should definitely have a pic with him!
Alice joined the Memory Walk & Jog team this year. Her favourite part of the event is reading the “I’m in the race for” stickers on people’s shirts and meeting all of the great participants. You’ll usually find her during the event in the truck starting bump out. She’s a good person to speak to if you have any general questions about Memory Walk & Jog.
Shella has recently joined the Memory Walk & Jog team and can’t wait for the Memory Walk & Jog events to begin. On the day you will see her making many connections, and making sure you are having a wonderful time! She can’t wait to meet all the participants from each race.
Tash has recently joined the Memory Walk & Jog team and can’t wait for the Memory Walk & Jog events to begin. With a background in acting she is passionate about people and their stories. She can’t wait to meet all the participants from each race. She’s a Dementia Warrior guru and enjoys being able to help attendees reach their fundraising goals. On event day, you'll find Tash at the Dementia Warrior desk and available to answer any questions.
Jen joined the Dementia Australia team and dived straight into the deep end with all of the Memory Walk & Jog social media. On event day, you'll find Jen with the photographer, making sure they capture all of our wonderful participants. She'll also be reminding you to share your own pics on Instagram using #memorywalk2019!
Rosie only recently joined the team and comes with a wealth of experience. On event day, you'll find Rosie is everywhere making sure the event runs smoothly. She loves being part of a team that is so passionate about making a difference in the lives of people impacted by dementia.
Sheridan joined the Memory Walk and Jog team in June 2017, having previously worked with the team as a volunteer – she loved it that much! She is one of the community fundraising coordinators and helps DIY organisers set up their own awesome event. You will find her patting every single dog that comes to the events!
