The safety of our participants, volunteers and staff is our number one priority.
Our goal is to have a fun-filled and safe community event to support people impacted by dementia.
The safety and wellbeing of our Memory Walk & Jog participants, volunteers and staff continues to be our first priority. We are constantly monitoring the situation and in communication with the relevant federal, state and local authorities. Our COVIDSafe Plan is tailored to each event – the latest information on your event can be found at the bottom of this page.
All events will include the following measures:
- Social distancing – we will have methods and procedures to ensure we all keep a safe distance including maximum participation numbers.
- Hygiene procedures – we welcome you to have your own face coverings on the day and there will be lots of hand sanitiser available on the day.
- Attendance recording – ensuring we have the most up to date details of our participants.
- COVID-19 app – we encourage all participants to download and use the Australian Governments COVID-19 app on their device.
If we are unable to hold the physical event due to government guidelines, we have a plan in place to go virtual! As part of the virtual event you will have access to an incredible online community, fitness trackers and much more.
