In Memory of My Dad, Arthur: Walking to Beat Dementia for 433,300 Australians
On Sunday, 3 May, I'll be taking part in Geelong's Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support Australians impacted by dementia. This cause is incredibly dear to my heart.
My beautiful dad, Arthur, passed away from early-onset Alzheimer's on 17/11/2025 at just 68 years old. Watching him deteriorate was awful, and the impact on our family has been huge. He was so loved and is terribly missed. I'm walking in his memory to make a difference for others.
Dementia is currently Australia's leading cause of death, and by 2058, over 800,000 Australians are expected to have it. But we can change this.
All money I raise will support the vital work of Dementia Australia, helping provide crucial services like counselling, support groups, and research to find a cure.
Your donation would mean the world to me and my family. Together, we can achieve a lot.
Thank you for your support!
