Dad’s Army is proud to take part in the Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog in support of Dementia Australia.
On Sunday, 15 March, we’ll be joining the Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog to show our love and support Dementia Australia and we need your support!
Dad’s Army was built in honour of my beautiful dad, Garry Heyne, and his battle with dementia. What began as a small team of family and friends walking beside him has grown into something much bigger. An army united by care, compassion and determination.
Since Dad’s passing in 2024, our boots are still on the ground. Walking, jogging and running in his memory. Dad’s Army is no longer just for one family, but for every family and friend walking their own dementia journey, and for the 1.7 million carers and loved ones across Australia who stand beside them.
By supporting our team, you’ll help Dementia Australia provide vital services like counselling, support groups, education and research to improve care and move us closer to a cure.
If you can’t join us on the day, a generous donation will help us continue the fight to stop dementia in its tracks.
Together, we can make a real impact. One step closer to a future without dementia.
