At Emmy, we see every day the impact dementia has on individuals, families, and carers ā and thatās why weāre proud to be taking part in the Melbourne Memory Walk & Jog.
On Sunday, 17 May, our Emmy community will be walking, jogging, and running together to raise vital funds and show our support for the 433,300 Australians currently living with dementia. Weāre doing this in partnership with Dementia Australia, to help ensure people living with dementia ā and those who care for them ā receive the support they deserve.
Across Australia, 1.7 million carers, family members, and friends are involved in caring for someone with dementia. With numbers growing, the need for support, education, and research has never been greater.
We would love for you to join us on the day ā and if youāre unable to, a donation of any size will make a meaningful difference. Every contribution helps provide essential services such as counselling, support groups, education programs, and research toward a cure.
