We are raising money in memory of our Mum, Michelle and the 433,300 Australians living with dementia

We are raising money in memory of our beautiful Mum, Michelle. 

Mum battled early-onset Alzheimer's & primary progressive aphasia for 5 years, she passed away in September at just 63 years of age. Prior to her diagnosis, this was a disease our family had no personal experience with, and through this fundraiser we hope to do our part to support others navigating this incredibly difficult path. 

On Saturday, 6 June, we’ll be taking part in the Redcliffe Memory Walk & Jog, with all funds raised proudly supporting Dementia Australia.

And we need your support! 

Did you know that 1.7 million carers, family members and friends are involved in the care of someone living with dementia in Australia. 

Mum lived with Younger Onset Dementia, which affects people under the age of 65 and is often diagnosed when individuals are still working & raising families. It brings unique challenges, included delayed diagnosis, limited age-appropriate services and additional emotional and financial strain on families.

We'd love you to join us on the day, but if you can't, a generous donation will help provide vital services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to find a cure.
