Help me raise money in honour of family & friends affected by dementia, including my father, Tony who has been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. This will help more than 433,000 Australians living with dementia.
On Sunday, 18 May, we are hosting a Memory Walk to raise funds to support Australians impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to our hearts and we would love your support.
Please donate $40 (or whatever you can) to support my efforts and help us reach our goal to beat dementia.
Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's second-leading cause of death. By 2058 it's expected that over 800,000 Australians will have dementia. But we can change this.
All money I raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.
DETAILS:
Please meet us at 8.30am in the carpark of The Boathouse, 7 The Blvd, Moonee Ponds VIC 3039 and join us in a 4km walk (or jog twice round) along the Maribyrnong River circling back to The Boathouse by 10am.
