Housekeeping

Well the 25kms are well and truly completed and thanks to everyone that helped me raise an average of 100 bucks a kilometre . Did the last 4 kilometres with my Dad LES who is the main reason I did this very little thing at Hillview golf course and touched him up by 7 shots over the 9 holes .
Thanks to Beaker Jones who though not on the official donation page is shouting Dad and I a game of golf in the next few weeks .
Special mention to Killer whose own old man is going through what we both call the ‘ the slow goodbye ‘ and we tell ourselves we must remember all the good times had growing up with our 2 fathers , who just quietly are dead set farken legends .
And we still will have many more good times with them BUT neither LES or KEV May remember them as well as they once would have and the reason won’t be because they consumed 19 beers 🍺.
Thanks everyone for their generosity and support and to all those with the dementia and Alzheimer’s and their nearest and dearest , be patient , stay strong , show compassion and courage and let’s hope this putrid disease can be beaten by a cure or at least some medicine or therapy that assists the sufferers with a better quality of life in their golden years .

Day 1

Starting with a 2.6km walk to my sister and brother in laws stopping for a chat and a couple of early morning coldies and a play with Conor and Sienna before heading back for a total of 5.2 ( 19.3 to go ) plan being to grab young LES for the last K or so . 2020 has been bad for many so I reckon 50 lots of 10 bucks will mean more to LES and I then 10 lots of $50 BUT if you wanna and can throw $50 in please do - well off I go and looking forward to these icy millers chills

I’m doing a MY Memory Walk & Jog for my Dad Les Murray and to raise funds for people with dementia!

I’ll be completing a MY Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support people with dementia.
