For my mum Vi

I’m doing the Virtual Grant McBride Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds for people with dementia!

I’m taking part in the Virtual Grant McBride Memory Walk & Jog. I walk for my mum Vi, who lost her ten year battle with dementia in 2016.

What is a virtual walk? As we can't gather in groups we can still keep moving! During Dementia Awareness Week (21–27 September), I’ll be keeping active and raising funds to support people impacted by dementia. I will undertake the usual memory walk from Saltwater Creek Park, Long Jetty to Picnic Point Reserve,  The Entrance, as well as daily walks around my neighbourhood.

Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me reach or surpass my goal.

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

Thank you for your support.

Still miss Mum every day. When things get tough it's great to sit in her old rocking chair, drink a beer and smile when I think about her. Good luck on your walk Shell.
