I’m doing a MY Memory Walk & Jog for my Grandmother who passed away and to raise funds for people with dementia!
I’ll be completing a MY Memory Walk to raise funds to support people with dementia.
My beautiful Nanna passed away almost a year ago and I thought during this isolation period I would give myself a kick up the bum and a goal to walk in her honor and help support Dementia Australia.
Watching her slowly deteriorate with onset Dementia has been very hard as she was such a very bright and bubbly lady, she had such an amazing memory and loved to chat and fuss over everyone.
So I'm doing this walk for you Nan ♡ I love you and miss you everyday, i think of all those wonderful memories of beautiful stories you once were able to share.
Please if you can make a small donation or if you can't that's ok you can also walk along with me to inspire me to reach my goal of 100 klm in 4 weeks.
All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.
