Fulfilling visit

Recently, we were so blessed to spend time with the beautiful residents in the Dementia Unit at St Vincent’s, and to meet some new faces along the way. This unit holds a very special place in our hearts, as it’s where we’ve seen animal‑assisted therapy make the most profound difference.

Over time, I’ve witnessed these residents journey through many stages of dementia, and each visit is a reminder of the deep impact connection, comfort, and compassion can have.

The funds raised through the Memory Walk & Jog are absolutely vital in supporting research and providing care for everyone affected by dementia. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single supporter who has so generously donated. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
