I’m doing a MY Memory Walk & Jog for my Grandmother Maureen and to raise funds for people with dementia!
Hi everyone ! 🌸💜
This June I will be completing the memory walk to raise money for those living with or caring for someone with dementia.
Internationally 50 million people are currently living with dementia, not only does this affect the individual, it affects their loved ones and care givers.
As a nurse, I am exposed to dementia almost everyday, but when it is a loved one diagnosed it is a completely different story- my nana lost her battle this February. Watching someone you love forget the little things that they used to enjoy and lose their sense of self heart breaking
I’ll be walking, jogging or walking 150km the month of June. All donations will go to Dementia Australia.
I know at the moment we are living in crazy times with this pandemic, but any donation would be greatly appreciated !
