Mum and Ash

Mum, "Mardi" was 81 when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We were fortunate she never lost her sweet nature but in losing her memories she did lose much of herself. Early in her illness she said "Remember me as I was." We walk remembering a beautiful face, a loving smile and a wicked sense of humour. Ash was 38 when we lost him to early onset dementia. We remember his welcoming smile, his love of music and enthusiasm for life. A gentle soul gone too soon. We walk for Ash too.

I’m doing the Geelong Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds for people with dementia!

On Sunday 14 March, I’ll be taking part in the Geelong Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support people with dementia.

But I need your help! Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me reach my goal to beat dementia.

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

Thank you for your support.
