C'mon Georges River, let's get active!
In New South Wales alone there are over 135,000 people living with dementia.
Join the Georges River Council MyWay MW&J on Saturday 20 September, 2025 at Gannons Park, Peakhurst for an incredible day out. Let's join together as a community and raise funds to beat dementia!
Whether you're an experienced runner, looking to challenge yourself, or after a leisurely weekend walk - we've got you covered! This is an event for all ages and abilities.
Register today for the 3.3km walk or 6.6km jog and let's get moving together. The funds you raise will go towards vital support such as counselling sessions, in-home care, education for health care professionals, as well as innovative research.

Course Map & Distances
Participants will walk around Gannons Park along shared winding paths and scenic open green spaces.
This is a 3.3km (1 lap), and 6.6km (2 laps) route that you can walk, run or jog.
Be sure to where sunscreen and bring a water bottle on the day!
Parking
Parking and accessible parking is available around the Gannons Park sports fields, where the event will take place. The best public transport connection is by bus, with the closest stop Pindari Rd Opp Gannons Park.

Accessibility
This event course is wheelchair accessible and accessible bathrooms are located in the uppper playing fields.
The couse will include a mild to moderate incline and decline.
A portion of the course covers an off-leash dog park.
