The Hunter Memory Walk & Jog took place on Sunday 31 March. You can see photos from the day in our Facebook photo album and don't forget your fundraising page will stay open until June so you can keep raising money for Dementia Australia! All funds raised will go to services in NSW.
If you missed the Hunter event, why not get your friends together and hold your own event?
Dementia Australia returned to the Hunter for the annual Memory Walk & Jog. The event was held at Speers Point Park on Sunday 31 March 2019.
Fundraisers chose from 2km or 7.5km and walked, jogged or ran to help Australia Get Active and Beat Dementia.
Dementia is the condition that will have the greatest social and economic impact of our time. In NSW there are an estimated 146,007 people living with dementia and our services have never been in higher demand.
All funds raised help Dementia Australia to provide vital support services, such as counselling, support groups, education to help family carers and professional training across NSW. These services reduce feelings of isolation and empower people living with dementia and those caring for them. With your help, we can make sure that our support is always available to those who need it.
