We're doing the Illawarra Memory Walk & Jog for families affected by early-onset Frontotemporal Dementia.
On Sunday 22 March, our team will be joining the Illawarra Memory Walk & Jog for all the families affected by early-onset frontotemporal dementia (FTD), and to support the vital work of Dementia Australia.
FTD has touched multiple generations of Jacqs family in the prime of their lives. Genetic forms like MAPT-associated FTD ripple through families, affecting grandparents, parents, children and communities alike. Greater awareness, support and research are essential to help families navigate the disease today and create a better future for those who may face it tomorrow.
We’ll be walking, jogging, and running to make a difference, and we’d love you to join us on the day. If you can’t, a donation will directly support families navigating the challenges of dementia through counselling, support groups, education, and research.
