I'm raising money for my late Mum, Teresa and the 433,300 Australians living with dementia.
On Sunday, 29 March, I'm taking part in Perth's Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support Australians impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to my heart and I would love your support.
My beautiful mamma struggled from the effects of Alzheimer's disease, which tragically took away her ability to understand or explain her pain. Whilst her strange behaviours were put down to the progression of dementia, the truth was that she was also suffering from the pain of an aggressive cancer - something we discovered way too late, just one month before she passed away. We hope that funds raised will contribute to continued research for our precious loved ones living with dementia and to better education for their carers.

Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's leading cause of death. By 2058 it's expected that over 800,000 Australians will have dementia. But we can change this.
All money I raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.
