We're doing the Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds for the 400,000 Australian's living with dementia.
On Sunday, 24 March, we’ll be joining the Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog to raise much needed funds for Dementia Australia.
We are walking for our mum Linda (Thurston) Chaousis who has been living a long and strong journey with Dementia and Primary Progressive Aphasia.
The Memory Walk and Jog in Adelaide is along the Glenelg foreshore — a place where mum loved to walk. This was her happy place so participating in this event, along the same path our mum walked for over 20 years is extra special to us.
We’d love your support in raising funds for the incredible work of Dementia Australia who have a potential reach of 1.5 million carers, family members and friends involved in the care of someone living with dementia in Australia. The money we raise will help provide vital services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to find a cure.
