We're doing the Brisbane Memory Walk & Jog in memory of my Grandpa Robert Bennett and Grandad John Smith.

On Sunday 30 May, I’ll be taking part in the Brisbane Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support people with dementia.

Memories are very essential in our lives because they allow us to grow and learn to be a better person. Our recollections can teach us very important life lessons, demonstrate skills and abilities and can make us feel happy and entertained. There are so much more things that our memories can do and how beneficial it is in our lives.

Matthew and I will be participating in memory of my Grandpa Robert Bennett and my Grandad John Smith who our family miss very dearly. Dementia is the 2nd leading cause of death in Australia and unfortunately there is not prevention or cure for the chronic illness.

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

Feel free to join us! Thank you for your support.
