I’m raising 75K by age 75 to honour my mum, Margaret, and others impacted by dementia
I'm raising funds for Dementia Australia, to support the ongoing services they provide those impacted by dementia, as well as vital research.
Margaret, my mum, had dementia. She is pictured with me, above, tickling me in the hope of ruining our photo (an old trick!) Instead, it's become my favourite.
Mum turned 75 in 2020 and also, sadly, passed away at the end of the year. On mum's behalf, I've resolved to raise $75,000 by the time I'm the same age. I've set this life-long fundraising goal to show that I'm serious about raising funds to combat a disease that impacts so many.
Any amount you can donate helps Dementia Australia provide vital support and research programs.
You can also follow my running tally at www.markjfitzpat.com/75by75.
Thank you for your help, support and kindness. Mum would be proud of us all.
