I’m raising money in honour of my Pop, and for the 433,300 Australians currently living with dementia.

More than 250 Australians are diagnosed with dementia each day, equating to over 91,000 new cases per year, and it is the leading cause of death in Australia.

Dementia is a cruel and devastating disease for both the patients and their families. There is currently no cure to stop or reverse the disease.

This cause is deeply personal to me, as my incredible Pop battled dementia. In 2021, this cruel disease sadly took him from us, creating my passion for dementia care, research, awareness, and disease prevention. 

There are approximately 433,300 Australians currently living with dementia. By 2058, it's expected that over 800,000 Australians will have dementia.

But together, we can help to change this.

On Sunday, 14 June, I'm taking part in the ‘Memory Walk and Jog’ to support Dementia Australia, and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.

This cause is incredibly close to my heart and I would greatly appreciate your support, so that one day, we can live in a world free from dementia.
