Help me raise money in honour of my dad, Jonathan. He was diagnosed with Alzheimers at the age of 59 years young.
On Sunday, 26 May, I'm taking part in Brisbane Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support Australian's impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to my heart and I would love your support.
My dad, Jonathan, has the mental capacity of a 4year old! He is a shadow of what he once was, an active caring and loving dad.
His last 7years of formal diagnosis has been extremely hard on not only us as family but for him. He has gone from independent, working full time and actively involved in sport to now living in a supported living home with carers 24/7. He doesn’t recognise his children or his 15 grandchildren.

Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's second-leading cause of death. By 2058 it's expected that over 800,000 Australian's will have dementia. But we can change this.
All money I raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.
