For the ladies who despite their memory issues, are unforgettable
On Sunday, 18 May, I’ll be running 10K to raise funds to support people with dementia. But most importantly to support my Nana, lady Penelope.
For as long as I can remember, my Nana was the fittest, strongest and wittiest woman alive. She could out run me on the track, out play me on the tennis court, and had a spark like no other. Today she continues to battle with dementia. And while she hasn’t lost her spark, she’s lost her words, her memories, and her ability to walk. This run is for her. For lady Penelope. Ever strong, ever fit, ever my inspiration.
