I'm raising money for my All the wonderful care recipients I meet through my role as an Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) Coordinator , and the 433,300 Australians living with dementia.
I’m taking part in the Memory Walk & Jog to support people living with dementia, and the families, carers and communities who support them.
In my role as a Coordinator with the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS), I support a team of compassionate volunteers who provide regular social visits to older people living both in private home care or residential aged care, many of whom are living with dementia. These visits offer companionship, meaningful connection and reassurance, helping to reduce loneliness and social isolation.
I’m also part of the ACVVS S.A fundraising team.
Northern Volunteering SA has been a proud auspice for the ACVVS since 1992, and we deliver the program as part of the Northern Lights consortium, in partnership with Enfield Baptist.
By supporting this walk, you’re helping Dementia Australia continue vital work in advocacy, education, research and support services for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
Thank you for your support, every donation helps make a meaningful difference.

I'm only $130 away from becoming a Bronze Level Fundraiser. Will you help get me there?
