Help me raise money in honour this year of my Dad, David Cassidy and the 400,000 Australian’s living with dementia.
On Sunday, 12 May, My family are taking part in the Hunter's Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support Australian's impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to my heart and I would love your support.
My husband Nic and children Hunter, London and Knox have many family members who have and are currently suffered with this horrible disease. This year my focus and thoughts are particularly with my dad whose symptoms have progress rapidly in the past 12months due to family history, age, infections and ill health. Once known as a gregarious man dad is now quite the opposite. It’s like we are slowly watching the man we always knew and love slip away. :(
Please make a donation to support my efforts and help our family team reach our goal to beat dementia.
Data info:
Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's second-leading cause of death. By 2058 it's expected that over 800,000 Australian's will have dementia. But we can change this.
All money I raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.
Thanks for your support! Xxxx
Lauren

I'm only $59.47 away from becoming a Bronze Level Fundraiser. Will you help get me there?
