Help me raise money in honour of my Mum, Bev and the 400,000 Australian’s living with dementia. Dementia is a cruel disease and it can happen to anyone you love.
On Sunday, 24 March, I'm taking part in Adelaide's Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support Australian's impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to my heart and I would love your support. I will be doing the 6km walk. This is the 4th year doing the walk for "Team Bev". Bev Woollard is my/our Mum. She is also a wife of 57 years to our Dad and a Nanna & a Great Nanna. An amazing ,smart, funny, talented, gentle and compassionate woman who is now living with dementia. This disease is cruel and heartbreaking and it does not discriminate. Mum is a trooper and continues on battling this disease, day by day, even though it is over 4 years since her diagnosis.
It not only affects your loved one but the whole of your family. This is why we continue to walk each year in honour of our Mum Bev and all the people living with dementia and their families.
Please make a donation to support my efforts and help us reach our goal to beat dementia.
Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's second-leading cause of death. By 2058 it's expected that over 800,000 Australian's will have dementia. But we can change this.
All money I raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.
Together we can achieve a lot. Your donation would mean the world to me.
Thanks for your support!
Wishing you a great day, from Tarrani and Team Bev.
