Help Us Raise money in Honour of my Mum, Rhonda and the 421,000 Australians living with dementia.

On Sunday, 8 June, we will join the Brisbane Memory Walk & Jog, to raise funds to support Australians impacted by dementia. This is a cause very close to my heart and my family.

Our family has been diagnosed with a rare dementia gene. Our grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousin so far have suffered and are suffering. Our family mantra of "fuck dementia!" is one I wouldn't wish any family to have.
At times, it truly feels like a game of dominos. 

My Mum, Rhonda, was the biggest brightest personality. She was known to have a generous heart - always donating to causes, sponsoring children, giving where and what she could - that included hugs, smiles and kisses to all that knew her (and even those that didn't!). She would have loved nothing more than growing old gracefully and enjoying time with her family and grandchildren. Currently she is being lovingly cared for at home - her last wish - by her husband and 24/7 care. For this we feel grateful.

There is not a day that goes by that I don't wish I could call her and just hear her voice.
Kris, Franco, Atlas and I will be walking for my mum, my aunts, my uncles and my cousin ....
