On Sunday, 22 February, I'm taking part in Canberra's Memory Walk & Jog to raise funds to support Australians impacted by dementia. This is a cause close to my heart and I would love your support.

Not many people know, but dementia is Australia's leading cause of death. By 2058 it's expected that over 800,000 Australians will have dementia. But we can change this.
All money I raise will support the work of Dementia Australia and help provide vital support services like counselling, support groups, education, and research to help find a cure.

"Here’s a small bit to help you achieve your goal Jan. My grandma was in her 70s when she started showing signs of dementia and that was the only version of my grandma that i knew. One of my most vivid memories of her is how she would ask me if i’d eaten 3 times within the span of a 5 minute conversation. Dementia has just been so normalised as something that occurs as we age, but the elderly deserve to live out a fulfilling and healthy life too.
