I’m doing a MY Memory Walk & Jog for my Dad Peter Colyer and to raise funds for people with dementia!

On Sunday 23rd of May, team 'Do it for D-man' will be walking and running in the Sydney 'My Memory Walk & Jog event'.

This cause is incredibly close to all our hearts. Just over three years ago our Dad, husband, uncle, brother, son and friend, Peter Colyer (known to many as 'D-man') was tragically diagnosed with a rare form of younger onset dementia at the young age of 51. You may wonder why we refer to Pete as D-man... this is a term he has chosen, like Superman... only D stands for Dad, Darling and Dementia!

Younger onset dementia is defined by Dementia Australia, as 'the term given when dementia is diagnosed under the age of 65.' Some of the diagnosis symptoms include problems with thinking, mood, memory, behaviour and movement.

With your help we aim to raise money and most importantly AWARENESS to help Dementia Australia find out more, educate the community and tackle what is such a devastating and debilitating disease for not only our "D-man", but also for so many others.

We've set a goal of $50k but would love to smash that target! Chadwick Real estate is a proud sponsor for the 'Do it for D-man' team and will be walking alongside Peter. Our other partners joining us will be Chatswood Toyota, Clipboard, Domain and

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. Some of these much needed services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

We thank you for your generous help in supporting such an important cause and look forward to walking with you on this journey.

So let's go do it for D-man!!!
